R v Colthrop Board Mill Ltd [2002] 2 Cr App R(S) 80 CA (0 other reports)
In R v Colthrop Board Mill Ltd [2002] 2 Cr App R(S) 80, the Court of Appeal reduces total fines imposed for a serious injury from £350,000 to £200,000. In so doing, it nevertheless rejects the notion that fines of £1/2 million or more for safety breaches should be restricted to major public disasters.
