In MacDougall v Taggarts Motor Group Ltd a Glasgow industrial tribunal (Chair R M Webster) awards arrears of £12,950 to a female accountant who was employed on like work to a male colleague. Although there was a material factor - the applicant's inability to drive - this did not objectively justify all the difference in pay, only a part of the difference.
