In Morse v Wiltshire County Council 1.5.98 EAT 1279/97, the EAT holds that an industrial tribunal must go through a number of sequential steps when dealing with an employer's alleged failure to comply with a duty to make reasonable adjustments in relation to the disabled person concerned. The tribunal must first decide whether such a duty is imposed on the employer in the circumstances of the particular case.
