A woman who was asked at her job interview questions which aimed to filter out those female candidates who were of child-bearing age and whose families were obviously not complete or perceived to be complete, was unlawfully discriminated against, rules a Belfast industrial tribunal (Chair: I Montgomery) in Johnston v Fultons Fine Furnishing Ltd. Compensation of £3,000 is awarded.
