In Robins v Norfil Ltd a Belfast industrial tribunal (Chair: J Maguire) holds that an English employee was discriminated against on grounds of race in the first successful complaint under Northern Ireland's new race law.

Mark Robins, an Englishman who lost an eye in an accident, worked at Norfil's textile factory in Antrim.
