Ninsiima v London Borough of Waltham Forest [1999] ET/3201853/98 (1 other report)
In Ninsiima v London Borough of Waltham Forest a Stratford employment tribunal (Chair: V K Gay) holds that a wheelchair user was discriminated against on grounds of disability by the employer's failure to make reasonable adjustments such as the provision of a filing system better suited to someone who had limited ability to reach upwards or downwards, and the provision of a desktop photocopier.
Mr Ninsiima was employed by the respondent as a full-time financial assessment officer from 1993 until April 1998, when he resigned.
