GAB Robins (UK) Ltd v Triggs [2008] EWCA Civ 17 CA

constructive dismissal | ill health | loss of earnings

The Court of Appeal has held that an employee who was constructively dismissed could not claim compensation in an employment tribunal for breaches that led to the dismissal.

Mrs Triggs, who worked as a secretary for GAB Robins (UK) Ltd, made complaints about her excessive workload and alleged that she had been subjected to bullying by Mr Baldock, a senior manager.
