Evesham v North Hertfordshire Health Authority [1997] IT/17844/87 (0 other reports)
A test case claim by a health service speech therapist that her work was of equal value to that of a clinical psychologist has been upheld by a London South industrial tribunal (Chair: E R Donnelly) in Evesham v North Hertfordshire HA and Secretary of State for Health.
The tribunal agreed with the report of the independent expert that the work of the two jobs was of equal value in terms of the demands made. It preferred the methodology adopted by the independent expert to that of the employer's expert from Hay Management Consultants.
