Robinson v Oddbins Ltd [1996] IT/4224/95 (0 other reports)
In Robinson v Oddbins Ltd a Reading industrial tribunal (Chair: I A Edwards) finds that the term in a branch manager's contract requiring her to work "such hours as may be necessary" over and above her standard working week was indirectly discriminatory against women. The employers should have given proper consideration to a jobshare so that the applicant, as a new mother, could have fixed hours.
