In Bhogal v Finserv and another a Leeds industrial tribunal (Chair: D P Burton) takes the view that it was appropriate to award aggravated damages where it was clear that an employer would continue to discriminate on racial grounds and where he had shown no contrition.

Eqbal Bhogal saw an advertisement at a jobcentre for a computer operator placed by Mr Dobson, an accountant and proprietor of Finserv.
