An Asian employee who was required to relocate from Bradford to Manchester shortly after taking race discrimination proceedings against his employer, was unlawfully discriminated against by way of victimisation, holds a Leeds employment tribunal (Chair: C T Grazin) in Butt v The Home Office.

Mr Butt, who is of Asian origin, was employed in 1991 as a senior development officer at the Bradford office of the Home Office's Drugs Prevention Initiative (DPI) on a fixed-term contract.
