Papadakis v Mermaid Inn Ltd EAT/759/94 (0 other reports)
In Papadakis v Mermaid Inn Ltd the EAT upholds an industrial tribunal's decision that the employee was dismissed for misconduct, and not because he had alleged that his employer had infringed his statutory right not to have unlawful deductions made from his wages. In the circumstances, therefore, the employee's claim that his dismissal had been automatically unfair failed.
