In Zafar v Glasgow City Council the House of Lords has ruled that whether an employer has acted reasonably is irrelevant to a complaint of discrimination. The Lords also rule that King v The Great Britain-China Centreis the authority which should be applied for determining whether inferences of discrimination should be drawn.
