In Riedel v Wolverhampton ACE Polytechnic a Birmingham industrial tribunal (Chair: A C Tickle) holds that it was unlawful victimisation to exclude from the campus a part-time lecturer who had accused students of racist behaviour.

Mr Riedel was a research student and a visiting part-time lecturer in the business school at Wolverhampton Polytechnic.
