In Dietman v London Borough of Brent 19.12.86 QBD the High Court declines to grant the declaration and injunction sought by the plaintiff, to the effect that the contract of employment was to be regarded as continuing after the employer had wrongfully dismissed her. This was because the plaintiff had, by accepting her employer's breach of contract, already terminated her employment.
