The Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) has upheld an employment tribunal decision that a volunteer was unable to bring a claim of disability discrimination against the organisation for which she volunteered when it ended the arrangement.

X was a volunteer with Mid Sussex Citizens’ Advice Bureau (CAB) under an agreement that was described as being “not a contract of employment or legally binding”.
