Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (Amendment) Regulations 2004, various sections come into force

The Regulations amend the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002, Chemicals (Hazard Information and Packaging for Supply) Regulations 2002, and Control of Lead at Work Regulations 2002. Changes include the introduction of restrictions on the supply and use of high chromium VI cement and the exclusion of all merchant ships from the provisions of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 and the exclusion of seagoing merchant ships from the provisions of the Control of Lead at Work Regulations 2002.
