Employment Relations Act 2004, various sections come into force
Implementation date: 31 December 2004
Some sections of the Act come into force,
including sections 15, 18, 33, 34, 36, 39 and 54. These sections mainly extend
the powers of the Secretary of State in relation to the Act. Section 33 entitles
a trade union to exclude or expel an individual wholly or mainly for taking
part in activities of a political party. The Act
