Employment Tribunals (Constitution and Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2001 come into force
Implementation date: 16 July 2001
The Regulations amend the Employment Tribunals
(Constitution and Procedure) Regulations 1993. Changes include new provisions
setting out how time limits in the Regulations and in documents issued under
them are to be calculated; amendments to the rules of procedure in equal value
cases; and a new duty on tribunals to consider an award of costs in
circumstances where proceedings which have no reasonable prospect of success
have been pursued. The Regulations can be viewed on the OPSI website.
