Equality Act 2010 (Amendment) Order 2010 comes into force

Implementation date: 30 October 2010

The Order amends s.76 of the Equality Act 2010, so that a claim for pregnancy and maternity discrimination cannot be brought in respect of contractual pay where a maternity equality clause or rule has no effect. This amendment reflects the position before the Equality Act 2010 came into force. The Order can be viewed on the UK legislation website.
