Fixed-term Employees (Prevention of Less Favourable Treatment) Regulations 2002 come into force
Implementation date: 1 October 2002
The Regulations give fixed-term employees the
right not to be treated less favourably than permanent employees of the same
employer doing similar work. The right applies where the less favourable
treatment is on the ground that the employee is fixed-term and is not justified
on objective grounds. The Regulations can
be viewed on the OPSI website.
