Health and Safety (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003 come into force

The Regulations make various amendments to the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982; Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1992; Manual Handling Operations Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1992; Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1993; Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1993; Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999; and Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999.
