National Minimum Wage Regulations 1999 (Amendment) Regulations 2004, remaining sections come into force

Implementation date: 6 April 2005

The Regulations provide that output workers must be paid the minimum wage for all hours worked or a 'fair piece' rate of 100% of the minimum wage for the number of hours it takes an average worker to complete an agreed block of work. The remaining sections increase the percentage to 120%. The Regulations can be viewed on the OPSI website.
