Part-time workers (Prevention of Less Favourable Treatment) Regulations 2000 (Amendment) Order 2005 comes into force
Implementation date: 1 September 2005
The Order amends the application of the Part-time
Workers (Prevention of Less Favourable Treatment) Regulations 2000 to the police
in consequence of the coming into force of the Serious Organised Crime and
Police Act 2005, section 158, which provides that in respect of breaches of
health and safety and employment rights legislation chief officers shall be
treated as a corporation sole (a legal entity consisting of a single person).
