Police (Amendment) Regulations 2003 come into force

The Regulations amend the Police Regulations 2003 in consequence of the bringing into force of provisions in the Police Reform Act 2002, which enable the National Crime Squad to recruit officers below the rank of Assistant Chief Constable for permanent positions.
