Transfer of Employment (Pension Protection) Regulations 2005 come into force
Implementation date: 6 April 2005
The
Regulations introduce the requirements contained in the Pensions Act 2004,
section 258. This section provides that, where there is a business transfer to
which TUPE applies, and an employee has access to an occupational pension with
employer contributions prior to the transfer, then the transferee employer must
offer a transferred employee certain pension arrangements. The Regulations can be viewed
