Redundancy payments
Furloughed employees will be entitled to redundancy pay based on their normal wages, not their furlough rate, from tomorrow (31 July).
Employers could be unwittingly breaking the law by calculating redundancy payouts based on furlough pay, rather than an employees' full salary, employment law specialists have indicated.
