Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme: Letter providing reminder to sign and return written agreement to be fully furloughed

Warning: On 5 November 2020, the Government announced that the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme will remain open until the end of March 2021. It published guidance on the extension to the scheme on 10 November. Employers are able to make claims under the extended scheme from 11 November 2020. Employers can enter into a furlough agreement that has retrospective effect from 1 November 2020 provided that it is in place on or before 13 November 2020. Otherwise, the furlough agreement must be in place before the start of the relevant claim period.
