When to use this model coronavirus/flexible furlough letter

Use this model HR letter to remind a furloughed employee who you are asking to return to work on reduced hours of the importance of signing and returning the flexible furlough agreement letter you sent to them.

Note: There are now restrictions on which employees can be furloughed - in particular, the employee must already have been furloughed for at least the minimum furlough period of three weeks before 30 June 2020. This means that the last date on which an employee could be furloughed for the first time was 10 June 2020, although there is an exception to the furlough cut-off date for employees returning from family-related leave.
