When to use this model adoption leave letter

Use this model HR letter to respond to an employee who has notified an intention to take statutory adoption leave (and pay), confirming that the employee is entitled to the leave (and pay) requested.

Note: The usual rules for calculating normal weekly pay for the purpose of determining entitlement to, and the rate of, statutory maternity pay are adjusted for employees who are furloughed under the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme.
