Use this model HR letter to send to an employee who is refusing, or is reluctant, to return to work as the coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown is eased.
Warning: This letter addresses a worker's general concerns about returning to the workplace, for example because they are worried about catching COVID-19 or unimpressed with their employer's safe-working adaptations. Employers should consult individually with workers with underlying health conditions and workers in other vulnerable groups, such as pregnant workers and those aged 70 or over, about potential adaptations to their role.
