Personal independence payment (PIP)

What is personal independence payment?

A benefit for those aged 16 to 64 with an illness or disability who need help to get around or look after themselves. The rate depends on how the condition affects an individual, not the condition itself.

How much personal independence payment can an individual get?

PIP is usually paid every four weeks and is made up of two components. View the current daily living component and mobility component weekly rates.
