Arrange training for employee representatives in a TUPE situation
Key points
Employers have a duty to inform and, in some circumstances, consult with employee representatives in relation to a TUPE transfer.
Although it is under no legal obligation to do so, it is good practice for the employer to provide employee representatives with training on their role, as this can make the process more effective.
The employer may choose to provide the training itself, or use an external provider.
