Holiday accrual in first year of employment worked example 1


Amanda works full time Monday to Friday. She started work for her employer on Monday 6 April 2015 and would like to take leave starting on Monday 18 May 2015.

Under her employment contract, Amanda is entitled to the statutory minimum of 5.6 weeks' paid annual leave, ie 28 days.
