Must an employer provide detailed information on fixed deductions in every pay statement?

A statement of fixed deductions may be provided as an alternative to setting out fixed deductions in every pay statement. However, with the prevalence of electronic payments and pay systems, deductions are normally summarised in full on the computer-generated pay advice.

A standing statement of fixed deductions should include: the amount deducted, the intervals at which the deductions are made and the purpose for which the deduction is made.
