Webinar: Employment law "bonfire" - How the EU Bill might affect HR

Niran de Silva

The Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill is currently passing through Parliament - and creating headlines and questions as it does so. On 10 May, the Government announced that the "sunset clause", providing for automatic revocation of legislation at the end of 2023, will no longer apply. Instead, the Bill will include a list specifying the retained EU laws that will be revoked on 31 December 2023 and the laws not listed will remain in force.

What will this list include and what can businesses do to prepare for the possible impact of the Bill, both at the end of 2023 and in the years to come? How likely is it that there will be major changes to UK employment law?

Niran de Silva KC, an employment law specialist at Littleton Chambers, answers these questions and discusses the possible effects of the Bill for HR professionals.

This 45-minute webinar includes a Q&A session.
