Neshwa Boukhari
Neshwa joined Al Tamimi & Company in 2011. She assists senior members of the employment team with legal research and the coordination of cross-jurisdictional employment law matters. Neshwa also provides commercial advice on local customs and on cultural queries affecting employers, as well as offering extensive knowledge on workplace health and safety matters across the United Arab Emirates.
Before joining Al Tamimi & Company, Neshwa worked in law firms in the US and was sworn in as notary public in the state of Massachusetts. After graduating with an LLB from the London School of Economics, Neshwa completed her LPC at BPP Law School before moving to Syria for a year to study modern standard Arabic at the University of Damascus. She uses her experience in this area to liaise with local government agencies and advise on the enforcement of local norms and customs.
Neshwa speaks English and intermediate Arabic.
