Control of Major Accident Hazards (Amendment) Regulations 2005 come into force

The Regulations amend the Control of Major Accident Hazards Regulations 1999, which exist to prevent major accidents involving dangerous substances and limit the consequences to people and the environment of any which do occur. The Regulations can be viewed on the OPSI website.
