Police Service of Northern Ireland Pensions (Amendment) Regulations 2010 come into force

Implementation date: 1 April 2010

The Regulations prescribe that the Northern Ireland Policing Board may accept an application from a senior officer who joined the police service before the age of 20 and who wishes to retire before the age of 50, to defer his or her pension payment until the age of 50.
