Revised UK Corporate Governance Code comes into force

Implementation date: 29 June 2010

The UK Corporate Governance Code sets out standards of good practice in relation to a company's board of directors, including its leadership and effectiveness, remuneration, accountability and relations with shareholders. The code recommends that directors of FTSE 350 companies should be subject to annual re-election.
