Social Security (Miscellaneous Amendments) (No.2) Regulations 2011 come into force
Implementation date: 5 August 2011
The Regulations make amendments to other Regulations relating to work experience and training schemes where an individual is in receipt of jobseeker's allowance. Changes include extending work experience placements for up to a further four weeks where a host business offers the young person an apprenticeship, and enabling individuals aged 16 and 17 claiming jobseeker's allowance to access the work experience programme. The Regulations can be viewed on the UK legislation website.
