Working Time Regulations 1999 come into force

The Regulations replace detailed requirements imposed on the employer of workers who have agreed to opt out of the 48-hour working time limit with a requirement, reflecting terms which appear in the Working Time Directive, to keep up to date records of such workers. The Regulations can be viewed on the OPSI website.
