US courts support regulator's action on Sea Containers
The US Bankruptcy Court has effectively endorsed financial support directions (FSDs) imposed by the Pensions Regulator on Sea Containers Ltd (OP, March 2008).
The directions were made because the company refused to put in place measures that the trustees and regulator thought were necessary to support its two defined-benefit schemes.
