Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 come into force

The Regulations protect employees from excessive noise in the workplace. They implement the EU Physical Agents (Noise) Directive which aims to protect workers from risks to their health arising from exposure to noise. The Regulations can be viewed on the OPSI website.
