Award limits and amounts payable under employment legislation from 1 February 2013
From 1 February 2013, under the Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order 2012 (SI 2012/3007), a number of limits applying to tribunal awards and other amounts payable under employment legislation increase. The limits apply where the event that gives rise to the award or payment occurs on or after 1 February 2013. Pursuant to an amendment to the Employment Relations Act 1999, any increase in the limits for 2014 onwards will occur on 6 April of the relevant year.
