Employers to be required to publish a "slavery and human trafficking statement"

A new FAQ looks at the "transparency in supply chains" provisions of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, under which some employers will be required to publish a statement on steps taken to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in their supply chain.

The duty is expected to come into force in October 2015.
