  • There is no general statutory requirement for employers to provide employees with vocational training, but employers are obliged to provide health and safety training and may have other specific training duties. (See General)
  • There is a system known as Australian Apprenticeships whereby individuals combine time working for an employer with on-the-job and/or off-the-job training, leading to a nationally recognised qualification.
