Final year of three-year deal at HM Revenue & Customs

    Most staff employed at HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) have received pay rises averaging a 3.1% growth in earnings, from 1 June 2007, in the final tranche of the three-year pay award agreed in 2005.

    The option for staff from either of the departments that merged to form HMRC (Inland Revenue and Customs and Excise) to assimilate onto core HMRC pay terms - and therefore be covered by this pay award - remained available until 31 May 2007.
