Flat glass agreement worth up to 4.2%

  • A pay and conditions agreement negotiated by the national joint council (NJC) for the flat glass industry has resulted in an across-the-board pay increase of 23p an hour, worth between 3.5% and 4.2%.

    As part of the previous settlement, minimum hourly rates were improved by 25p or 2.5%, whichever was the greater, from 1 January 2006.
