    • Department store House of Fraser has awarded a 2.5% basic pay increase to its 10,000 sales staff, store managers and head-office employees, effective from 1 April 2007. This takes the minimum hourly rate for a sales adviser on the company’s training grade in the provincial pay zone (zone E) from £5.35 to £5.49.
